We have issued the quotation with American Modern Insurance Group. American Modern has an A+ rating with A.M. Best, which rates insurance companies based on their financial strength. There are three attachments to this email, the quotation (AMHQuote) an application (AMHApp) and the supplemental information page. Please review “How To Purchase” information below for additional details on the attachments.
How To Purchase
How To Purchase Coverage: A completed and signed application and payment are required to purchase the policy. Complete the application, provide payment details and fax, email or mail the completed and signed application to United Marine. More details on the application, payment and payment plans are below.
Insurance Application: Please print, review and make any and all necessary corrections. Your signature(s) is required on the application. For your convenience, we have included a Supplemental Information page with the questions generally necessary to purchase the insurance coverage. Please complete these questions and return it by email, fax or mail with the signed application.
Each state has specific forms that may be required. If the quote includes state specific forms, these pages will be directly after the insurance application. These state specific pages must be signed dated and returned by email, fax or mail.
Payment: Payment is required to purchase coverage. You can pay by check, electronic check or credit card. If mailing a check, coverage cannot be bound until the check is received and coverage is accepted by the company. The check should be made payable to American Modern Insurance Group.
You can provide your electronic check or credit card information on the Supplemental Information page. An electronic check requires the routing number and the account number. These numbers are located at the bottom of the check. The routing number is always 9 digits and starts with a 0, 1, 2 or 3. The account number can be up to 17 digits. Please note the actual check number should not be included in the bank account number. The check number is located in the upper right corner and at the bottom of your check.
For credit card payments, we will need the card type, card number, and expiration date.
Payments are not processed until the company accepts your request to purchase coverage. We will notify you upon acceptance.
Payment Plan: Please review the quotes for available payment plans. Each quote will show the plans available.
1. If the 2-Pay plan is available, you make the down payment at time of purchase and you will be billed for the second payment 60 days from the policy’s effective date.
2. If the 4-Pay plan is available, you make the down payment at time of purchase and you will be billed for the the next installment 60 days from the policy’s effective date, the 3rd installment is due 120 days from the policy’s effective date and the last installment is due 180 days from the policy effective date.
3. If the EFT/Monthly plan is available, you make the down payment at time of purchase and the next 10 installments will be automatically deducted from your checking account monthly.
